WHAT LIFE ARE YOU NOW LIVING?

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

Paul said the life which I now live I live by faith in the Son of God. The apostle believed God and understood that the  just must walk by faith and faith comes by hearing the word of God. Jesus even said, those who continue in my word are my disciples indeed. The mark of a true disciple is that His life is lives in COMPLETE obedience to God. This is what it means to be crucified with Christ- not my will but His will, not my plans but His plans, not my wants but His wants, not my word, but His Word. If you want to be a Christian, if you want to be a true disciple of Jesus, Jesus said, you MUST deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow me. Oh friend, may I ask, what life do you now live? Haven’t you been bought with a price? Don’t deceive  yourself with the church religious games you play. This life Paul speaks of isn’t just faithful when it’s convenient, it’s not serving God only when it’s easy, or giving as long as it doesn’t hurt. The Christian life is not playing church but is picking up a cross! You must be crucified with Christ. It is not about doing what you can do, or doing what you want to do, it is a life that completely and utterly does what HE SAYS! Listen to this quote by A W Tozer which it explains it best, “People who are crucified with Christ have three distinct marks  they are facing only one direction  They can never turn back, and  They no longer have plans of their own “  Could this truly be said about you? Is this the life you now live? Oh God help us and Let it be so!
