2 Corinthians 4: 17 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

Have you been down lately? Does it seem like everything that can go wrong is going wrong? I don’t know about you, but with the pandemic and the divide within our country, it would seem like affliction is all we know. When I was reading this verse, four words stuck out to me. I might be going through affliction; I might be having what the world would call bad luck. However, I can rest assured that it is “but for a moment!” The word moment is defined as “a minute portion or point of time.” My troubles are for a moment and they are working for a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory than I could ever imagine.
