“And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.”
Judges 7:21

We are faced with a mighty big task in 2019. The enemy seems to be growing in number, size, and strength. If there was ever a time the enemy needed to be run out of town, it’s now. As it was with Gideon and his mighty men, We seem to be outnumbered on every side. They were outnumbered a 100,000 to 1, but even though they were outnumbered they were not unmatched, for greater is He in us than he who is in the world. If God be for us who or what could be against us. Despite their disadvantage, when “every man stood on his place” they were able to run out the enemy in defeat and take back the territory that rightfully belonged to God.  If we are to gain victory over the enemy, “every man must stand in his place”. As a believer, you have a place in the body. There is a plan for you , there is a play in the playbook for you. There is a spot on the team for you. Don’t get caught up in someone else’s place, but stand in your place. Fill your gap and be faithful to your place. To fill this place, you must stand, so do all to stand in this evil day. Don’t give in, give out, give up, back up , slack up, or shut up- but be rooted and grounded where God has planted you. You must determine by the grace of God that like a tree planted by the river, I shall not be moved. If one man of Gideon’s army would not have stood in their place, the enemy would have never been defeated. Let us learn from the Word today of the importance of standing in our place. Before you can ever execute God’s plan, you must first be planted, so be sure to stand in your place!
