“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
Genesis 2:7

We must never forget what it took for us to be a man. God stooped out of His lofty, pure and holy throne, reached down and scooped up some dust and formed man in His own image. But even then, man was just a form until He decided to breathe into the structure of dust and then it became a living soul. God performed the first and most powerful CPR ever administered and now what was inside of God was inside of man.
We must never forget that we are dust and dust we shall return. We must remember, what makes a man is God and without Him we can do nothing. When we as sinners were stuck in the miry clay, our Holy God reached further down then we could reach up, picked us up, set our feet on a solid rock and established our goings. Thank God He plays in the dirt!
