“And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:24-25‬ ‭

For you to better understand this text you need to know a little bit about about Israel countryside. The appointed land Moses handed out to Asher was some of the roughest ground in all of Israel. It was nothing but pointed and jagged bedrock. Sometimes you might feel like God has given you something you can’t handle. You want to walk by faith but you feel their is no way. Every step into the circumstance you have been handed is like walking barefoot on shards of glass. Nothing but pain and nothing but hurt. And you ask God, Why would you give me this land? And God says because I have some shoes for you to wear!
God says to Asher “your shoes shall be IRON”. Not any shoe would do in this situation, but God has shoes no one else could fit you with. No matter the terrain your traveling today, no matter the circumstance, God has a shoe for you! God is telling somebody today like he told Asher – I’m not gonna change the landscape, I’m not going to change the terrain, I’m not going to change your circumstance, but I’m going to protect you and give you the grace and strength to walk through it. God says:
Three Hebrew boys -I’m not going to take away the fire but I’m going to walk you through it. Daniel I’m not going to remove the lions but I’m going to give you the peace in the middle of it. Noah, I’m not going to take away the flood but I’ll give you the protection to float through it. David l, I’m not going to take away the valley but I will give you the Shepherd to walk you through it!! Child of God, I may not remove or change your landscape but I will give you the shoes to walk through it and then you shall know of my grace that is sufficient and my peace that passes all understanding. So Put your shoes on today and Walk on your terrain!
