        What do you see ?

You may have seen this photo before , while some see a young woman others see an old woman or possibly you take another look and then see the opposite of what you originally saw. That’s because this photo is called an illusion.

  1. a thing that is or is likely to be wrongly perceived or interpreted by the senses.
    A deceptive appearance or impression.
    A false idea or belief.

Genesis 3:1-5
Now the serpent was more subtil (sly-artful- cunning-illusive)than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? [2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: [3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

You see from the very beginning , Satan has been deceiving. He questioned her ,

  1. Did God say you cannot eat of every tree of the garden ?
  2. Then he lied and said “surely you want die “
  3. Then he twisted it all up playing on her senses telling her things she liked hearing : You will be like a god knowing good and evil.
And we all know what happens after that.
You see he’s a master of deception.

2 Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Don’t let the devil lie and deceive you the simple truth of Christ .
Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly and the devil has come to kill ,steal and destroy .

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Place these words on your hearts. Get them deep inside you. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder. Teach them to your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning until you fall into bed at night. Inscribe them on the doorposts and gates of your cities so that you’ll live a long time, and your children with you, on the soil that GOD promised to give your ancestors for as long as there is a sky over the Earth.

colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

This world will try and offer you many things promising joy and happiness but true joy comes from within and from having the all knowing assurance of the love of Jesus Christ
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

May God bless you and open the eyes of our hearts today so that we can see clearly and never be deceived by Satan ,and always remember the simple truth that Jesus Christ has over come the world !! Now that’s something to be cheerful about . Amen !!!
